These beeswax candles, created in small batches by Askew Candles in Darlington are made from moulds of original bottles. This though is not a beer bottle as you would expect from Newcastle Breweries. It’s an aerated water bottle. Which was water pumped with carbon dioxide that was thought to give health benefits.These bottle candles evoke a sense of history of bottle making, when the intricate design was almost as important as the liquids they held.
