The award-winning Welcombe Hills Vineyard grow their grapes on land once farmed by the Shakespeare family overlooking the Bard’s own Stratford-upon-Avon. Perched at the top of Welcombe Hills on rocky clay terroir the site has great drainage sloping down to the river Avon – the perfect conditions to aid the complex flavours of the award-winning wines they produce.
With this 2014 English Sparkling Rose you can look forward to tasting notes including fragrant eating apples, very subtle strawberry and raspberry notes joined by orange, bread dough and toast. Fresh palate of grapefruit, orange and subtle minerals. Touch of nuttiness to the finish.
