Stormy Sea Milkman Satchel

Brit-Stitch have reimagined the humble milkman’s satchel into a versatile and useful stormy sea milkman satchel. Some of us will be old enough to remember the trundling of the electric milk float. The rattle of milk bottles on board. And also the classic leather milkman’s satchel. The origin’s of the original milkman satchel from Brit-Stitch are rather splendid too. Peter Jones leather works in South Wales was asked one day, over 40 years ago to create a milkman’s satchel for the local milkman. Which Peter Jones duly did. Then only recently, the same milkman came back to not ask for another bag to be made but simply to fix the leather strap. This was the inspiration in creating milkman satchels in a variety of colours. Knowing they will last almost a lifetime.
