Globalisation has affected Britain as much as any other part of the world. Homogenisation of our high streets means that we have the same cafes and same shops selling the same things. But does that mean that the people that inhabit our towns have succumbed to? In Town to Town, Niall McDiarmid travelled to 200 towns across this green and pleasant land for 7 years photographing the characters that really define who we are. It is a unique portrait of Britain and the social and economic change that makes us, us.
